Former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of APC, Timi Frank has applauded the United States government for their decision to place a visa restriction on the individuals that caused violence in Kogi and Bayelsa states election.
He said that the decision should be extended to other stakeholders, Judges, INEC officials, security agencies, and political party chieftains who took part in the action.
Frank said this on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, in a press statement in Abuja stating that the visa restriction would be a key to the restoration of Nigerian democracy and should be extended to any defaulter in the upcoming election in Edo and Ondo states.
“The US Government must be commended for this move, which is in furtherance of its commitment to strengthening democracy in Nigeria as it would help checkmate individuals who have operated with impunity at the expense of the generality of the Nigerian populace.
